I had experienced a serious failure on Sony Bravia KD-43XF7003 with some loss of control from the remote including no Home button and with no access to Settings control so unable to perform a factory reset. Sony help line provided extensive email support but were unable to resolve the issue. They also informed me the TV at 18 months old was no longer under warranty. The remote checked out OK at my local Sony Dealer so the most likely culprit could be the 'Main AV Board'.
I found Spares2Repair on an internet search and discovered they had the exact board I needed at the most reasonable cost around £24.00 - Ordered immediately and the board arrived a few days later by tracked mail beautifully bubble wrapped and boxed. The board was in 'as new' condition. Fitting was straightforward and on powering the Sony Bravia it performed faultlessly. The only setup needed was to change the user password to connect to my Wi-Fi router. - Thank you so very much - from a delighted customer.
